Bullies was a collaborative release led by Detroit underground hip-hop artist Denmark Vessey featuring Azarias, and DrxQuinnx. I was brought on to develop the visual identity and campaign strategy for the project, creating artwork, packaging, video content, and digital marketing assets that supported the album's release across physical and digital platforms. The goal was to create a cohesive visual experience that reflected the group's experimental sound while maintaining consistency across every audience touchpoint.

________
The project required developing a visual identity that could work consistently across multiple formats while maintaining the group's unique artistic style. Every asset—from physical packaging to promotional graphics and video—needed to feel connected and reinforce the overall brand during the album release.
________
I developed a cohesive visual system built around distortion, motion, and fragmented imagery to reflect the raw energy of the music. The visual identity was then extended across cassette packaging, promotional graphics, digital marketing materials, and the music video for the single "Maury." A coordinated content schedule ensured consistent audience engagement throughout the release campaign.

As Production Manager for the Parkland Prospectus, Parkland College's student newspaper, I was responsible for the visual production and layout of weekly publications. Working closely with editors, writers, photographers, and contributors, I designed page layouts, managed production schedules, prepared files for print, and ensured consistency throughout each issue. In addition to newspaper production, I designed promotional materials and branded merchandise that supported the publication's identity on campus.

"Obsolete" ~ 4/10/2010
As a contributing cartoonist for The Daily Eastern News, Eastern Illinois University's student-run newspaper, I created original editorial cartoons and comic strips designed to engage readers through humor, satire, and visual storytelling. Each piece required transforming everyday observations, campus culture, and current topics into concise visual narratives that could communicate ideas quickly and effectively. The experience strengthened my ability to generate concepts, simplify complex ideas, and connect with audiences through illustration and storytelling.
